Serving in Argentina
Dear Pastor and Church,
The Psalmist said, “The Lord hath done great things for us, whereof we are glad.” We are happy to share with each of you His blessing in our ministry. After numerous analyses and doctors visits, we have been given permission to travel. The last test was July 5th and it declared me free from the bacteria that caused my ulcer. We are very thankful for His love and care.
July is anniversary month for us. Our beloved USA celebrated its 236th year of independence on the 4th; Lynda and I celebrated 51 years of marriage on the 6th; the first church we started, in San Antonia de Padua, celebrated 44 years on the 7th; and Argentina celebrated its 193rd independence day on the 9th. On the church anniversary, I was honoured to preach and one young man was saved. Yesterday, the 22nd, I was privileged to preach twice and it was blessed of the Lord.
We are planning to travel to the States on August 7th mainly for Lynda to have a complete medical check-up. Please pray with us and for us as we plan to be there though the end of the year. Also, pray for camp season in January. A very special need is to repair the roof on our boy’s dorm before the camps begin. The total cost will be at least $8,000 – $10,000. Thank you for your faithfulness through the 48 years as missionaries to Argentina.
